The wound-friendly absorbent dressings of four matched material layers have a silky soft covering of not be bonded two-layer fabric and an absorbent body made of soft wood pulp fluff. The tissue layer serves the secretion distribution. The moisture-repellent layer is made of polypropylene non-woven on the back of the compress and serves as protection against contamination. A color marker indicates the back to avoid application errors.
